Elyon Christian School

Elyon Christian School (ECS) is a private Christian school that was founded in 2002, and from that beginning, ECS has consistently achieved both spiritual development and academic excellence by fostering quality education in a Christian-oriented atmosphere. ECS is owned by GKA Elyon (one of the largest churches in Surabaya) and accredited by the Indonesian ministry of education as well as international education institutions. We seek to provide our students with a strong Christian foundation that leads them toward adulthood by creating a supportive and challenging learning environment that inspires them to reach their full potential. We believe that each person is unique, endowed with special talents, and able to grow into the person God desires. ECS offers an education pathway that supports a four-tier school structure, reflecting the critical stages in the life of a child; preschool, primary, secondary, and high school. We adopt an international standard curriculum towards the Cambridge International Education Assesment alongside other national curricula. The school has several native teachers and supported by certified and experienced local teachers. The programs are delivered in English by experienced English-speaking and Cambridge-trained teachers. Our teaching approach is directed toward individual development and enrichment in the following areas: intellectual, health, aesthetic, and social. The programs incorporate character building, spiritual growth, leadership training, and ethics. Right now, ECS own four campuses on strategic and secure locations. Our preschool and primary school are one of the prominent multilingual Christian educations in West Surabaya and East Surabaya. The preschool offers interactive classes for toddler, playgroup, and kindergarten students. Our secondary and high school are based on West Surabaya, mainly focusing on higher level education with a global perspective. This includes extensive and balanced integrated curricula of Indonesia national curriculum, Cambridge IGCSE and GAC program.
