Emerging Minds

Emerging Minds offers a Comprehensive Intervention Program (CIP) and a Parent Partnership Intervention Program(PPIP) for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder ages 12 months to 6 years of age. Both of our programs are based on the Early Start Denver Model, which is a child-directed play-based behaviour intervention program designed for toddlers and preschool children. Each program is supervised by Dr. Korneluk and individually designed by our treatment team. In the CIP, your child will receive a minimum of four 3.5 hour shifts per week (14 hours) of one on one therapy with our educator therapists. In the PPIP, parents act as partners with the Emerging Minds team in providing therapy to their child. This includes a minimum of two 3.5 hour sessions per week (7 hours) with our educator therapists. In addition, parents will receive biweekly coaching sessions to teach them how to promote their child's development outside of the one on one sessions.
