Empowery eCommerce Cooperative

Empowery is a member-owned cooperative. Each member of the cooperative will purchase and own one share at a fixed price. If the member leaves the coop, the fixed share amount will be refunded to the member. All shareholders will receive a vote on major issues. Our leadership team is dedicated to delivering value to the entrepreneurs and creating a long-term self-sustaining entity that can be lasting and integration for entrepreneurs around the world. No profits are held at the cooperative. Once the obligations to manage and operate the cooperative are paid all of the remaining money is distributed to members based on patronage. The targeted minimum distributed to the coop members shall always be the MAJORITY of the rebates collected. HOW DOES IT WORK? When a member joins Empowery they become a fellow owner of the cooperative along with all other entrepreneur members. Members agree to focus their purchases of relevant products and services that they need for their business and are may already be buying anyway, to earn the cooperative benefits. The Empowery marketplace will have a number of offerings that members can review and purchase. Suppliers may offer upfront discounts, possibly additional perks, and a rebate which is exclusively for members only. Non-members may have access to some of the upfront discounts or even added perks, but non-member customers will not earn rebates which are exclusively available to cooperative members. Members will earn rebates based on their own patronage. The cooperative will collect these rebates from suppliers and maintain financial records on earned rebates throughout the year before sending the majority of the rebate back to the members.
