Encore's core product focus is DLNA compliant digital media processing software. Our first generation product, the Encore Media Gateway(EMG), was IPTV focused and delivered whole home PVR, whole home pause live TV and personal media storage and distribution. Our revolutionary second generation product, MH-CORE, is an evolution of EMG but with a much broader focus than IPTV. With MH-CORE, we have added the capability to ingest and process multiple concurrent QAM and ATSC broadcast feeds as well as IPTV streams. In addition, MH-CORE is a compliant DLNA digital media server capable of storing, advertising and distributing personal, live and recorded media assets to DLNA consumer devices as well as legacy settops. MH-CORE's high performance any in / any out software design is built specifically as a white label embedded software component to be integrated with consumer and service provider products. A full SDK is available and MH-CORE is designed to support both thick and thin client architectures. Prior to starting Encore in early 2007 the founders honed their product skills as IPTV pioneers with startup iMagicTV and later with Alcatel's Product and CTO teams focusing on quadruple play innovation and prototyping. Collectively this team has over 25 patents from previous engagements and since Encore's inception multiple patents pending and/or in progress.
