Engage

The Engage Group and the whole PMG family have a strong belief that charity begins at home, and we love to support and promote local charities in our own backyards. To that end, our Community Outreach Committee is a group of dedicated employees who help plan events to support four local charities in any way possible. One of the charities we are supporting in 2013 is Nick's Place. Founded in 1999, Nick's Place is a residential rehab facility that fosters sobriety in men 20-26 years old through a 12-step program and helps them to appreciate a life of sobriety while offering means to prevent relapse. Located in the Washington DC Metro area, Nick's Place focuses on relapse prevention through mental, physical and spiritual education opportunities. With only a small number of residents, only six at a time, Nick's Place is able to foster a family-like environment while teaching residents how to keep up with hygiene, maintain full time employment and make sound financial decisions. Over the years, The Engage Group and PMG have been able to support Nick's Place by purchasing pantry items, new bedding, entertainment equipment and other items. We've also organized a fundraiser within the community to get our partners involved in supporting the nonprofit.
