Engineering Documentation Ltd. was founded in 2006 by directors David Mullen and Tim King with the vision of improving the standard of technical documentation within the building industry. Originally we offered Digital Safety Files, Operation & Maintenance Manuals and Drawing Services to the construction sector. Over the last ten years the company has developed using the implementation of BIM as a key tool to drive quality, efficiency and accountability for our clients. Our background in MEP services has led us to specialise in the production of mechanical and electrical BIM models, building services coordination and clash-detection. We also offer Point Cloud Scanning as well as the production of 'as built' and data rich models for building handover. We have a team of co-ordinators and technicians available who can either work on site or from our own drawing office depending on project requirements. All our services are provided in-house from our head office in Sligo. Engineering Documentation Ltd. maintains its integrated Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental Management system and strives to continually improve the systems effectiveness in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007. The skills and capabilities associated with this systematic approach to management have enabled the company to develop and consistently improve. Not only are we a working BIM practice, ENGdoc is also an Autodesk Approved Training & Certification Centre. This gives our clients access to the best of both the practical and academic knowledge bases within BIM. As well as worked on some of the major construction projects within Ireland over the past number of years, Engineering Documentation Ltd. also has a track record of delivering projects in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. Engineering Documentation were awarded the County Winner in the Irish National Enterprise Awards in 2008 and received the National Award for Achievement, Innovation and Excellence in the Emerging Business Category from the Small Firms Association in 2009.
