Equine Medical Solutions is a new company set up to provide advice and help for practitioners wishing to treat equine tumours. This service covers advice regarding all skin and internal neoplastic conditions. MISSION: Equine Medical Solutions set out to improve the understanding and treatment of equine cancer conditions of all types through mutual consultation and discussion. AIMS: Through close contact with referring veterinarians we aim to provide support and advice for cancer cases through the supply of evidence based information and where appropriate treatment options. We aim to provide timely and positive advice to improve the overall welfare of horses suffering from neoplastic disease. We provide sensible balanced advice regarding the treatment and prognosis of a wide range of tumour conditions based on a lifetime of experience and published evidence. We endeavour to supply appropriate medication and advice regarding its use if these are considered useful. We actively monitor case progression and provide ongoing support for primary clinicians. We welcome both person to person discussion and comment as well as progress reports on cases in an attempt to improve both base line knowledge and the service we provide.
