Innovis Health
At Innovis our guiding principles of Compassion, Hospitality, Stewardship and Safety bring us together as a team, and inspires us to provide the highest quality care for each patient every time. Maintaining quality would not be possible without the efforts of our doctors and healthcare staff. The information is intended to educate our community, patients, visitors and staff about healthcare quality. Innovis Health is actively involved in national projects to implement standardized care delivery that provides us with meaningful and relevant information to share with you. Innovis Health voluntarily submits data to several agencies for the purpose of comparing ourselves to others, setting standards and to evaluate our own progress. On our website, you will find quality measures as identified by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services as the basis for reporting and measuring the quality of hospital care. The data is converted to a percent that can be compared to hospitals at the state and national level. These measures are used because they are based on the most recent scientific evidence of how to treat patients and get the best results. The measures relate to three serious medical conditions (heart attack, heart failure and pneumonia). While this data is useful and we pay close attention to these results, we believe that the quality of care cannot be measured by these results alone. We also take into consideration the unique needs of each individual patient and what is best for them.
