Eurofoam Hungary Kft. is a member company of Eurofoam GmbH, a joint venture of the Belgian Recticel and the Austrian Greiner Group. Geographically our operational area covers Hungary, Slovakia, Western Ukraine, Western Romania and Serbia. In these markets we play a market leader role but in any case our position is determinant. Our central site is in Sajóbábony close to the city of Miskolc, where our activity organised into two segments: manufacturing and converting of comfort and technical foams. Our foaming technology represents the most up-to-date technical solutions and complies with the most rigorous environmental provisions. Our products are polyurethane flexible foams including light and soft, semi-hard, high resilient types and other foams with special properties. The first manufacturing stage in our comfort division is the production of the so-called slabstocks (long blocks) which are cut to short blocks and rolls during the process. This product group is sold to our customers with own converting unit, or further processed like: sheets, CNC shape cut, and glued parts in our own converting units occupying several 10000 square meters located in Sajóbábony and Székesfehérvár, Hungary. It these plants we use special products beside the classic foam types, i.e. visco-elastic, antibacterial, and rebound foams which are sold as furniture parts, mattress cores and healthcare applications under the brand name Foam for Care. In the technical foam division - as a contrast to the mass production of comfort products -special products and applications are developed and manufactured which are used by the automotive industry, packaging and electrotechnics industries. The site of this division also operates in Sajóbábony in a complex with close to 5 000 m2 area. By utilising the research and development bases of our shareholders as well as the know-how of our partner companies throughout Europe located on approximately 36 sites we are able to continuously modernise and expand our manufacturing technology, develop our products so that we can transmit our philosophy to our partners: quality, innovation, focus on the environment and the people.
