Extrx is a Finnish company established in 2016 that is set to produce high quality anthocyanin extract, alongside with other nutraceutical products and functional foods from wild arctic berries. Besides extract, our product line will include juices, fresh purees rich in fiber, dried berry products with high nutritional values and various other products. Our berry selection includes, but is not limited to, bilberries, crowberries and lingonberries. We have the expertise and passion to make top-class products from pure natural raw materials for both local and international markets. We want to be part of a global change that encourages people to maintain their health and well-being through the choices they make. Extrx is specialized in B2B products for food&beverage, nutrition, pharmacy and cosmetic industries aiming to help customers to make high added value products from nature's own superfood, arctic berries. The wild arctic berries are hand-picked and immediately frozen to avoid losing any single component of those super berries. Our factory is situated next to lake Pirttijärvi in Sotkamo, in the beautiful Kainuu area, rich of wild arctic berries. The building has many decades history as a modern and innovative dairy, and now we have the priviledge of using it as a base for our modern and innovative berry processing plant. We have started the IQF quality cleaning operations of wild arctic berries with a semi-automated processing line. In 2019 our product portfolio consists of juices & concentrates, bioactive jam and other special berry products.
