Farassan Man & Ind Co.began its operation in 1986 . During this journey, Farassan has grown from a small workshop with 5 employees which made composite blades for air cooling tower to one of largest GRP pipe and fitting manufacturing companies in the world. Today over 2500 committed staff, utilizing 8 machines with production capacity of over 1800 km/Year of GRP pipe, work together with one common goal: "To provide security for their customers, taking care of the environment, providing clean water for all, offering the most efficient and cost effective solutions to all fluid transfer and chemical processing sectors of industry." Today Farassan is one of the largest manufacturers of corrosion resistant composite products such as GRP/GRV/GRVE pipes and fittings in the world and the largest in terms of production capacity and product variety in Iran. Farassan under the licensee of "Faratec" which is one of the most prominent GRP/GRE and GRVE pipe technology centers in the world. The vision of "Faratec" is to be one of the top 2 providers of such technology in the world. Today, domestic and foreign specialists work side by side in "Faratec" center to provide the best production technology to their customers. Our products are offered under the trade mark of "Faratec Pipes". The production method for our composite pipes is known as Continues Filament Winding (CFW) which is the fastest most reliable GRP pipe production technology. In this method the inner diameter of pipe is kept constant and high quality raw material is used to achieve desire pipe thickness. The process is fully automated and computer controlled, therefore reducing any possible human error in the course of production.
