Our dry cargo chartering department is specialised in shipments of various commodities worldwide in both the deep-sea and short-sea shipping. We have a team of enthusiastic brokers with a vast wealth of knowledge and know-how. Skills gained over the years enables us to deal adequately with your shipping requirements or orders from start to finish. Our brokers have built up an extensive network of contacts in the maritime industry with owners, operators and agents. Here at Fast we work as exclusive brokers for several charterers. The permanent ambition to provide principals the highest professional standards of an all round service is one of our trademarks, also in chartering business. Fast Lines Belgium evolved from shipbroker to shipowner. In 1992 the first 3 coaster vessels were bought. Our founding fahter Herman Scheers named the first vessels after his children (Fast Ann, Fast Catrien and Fast Filip). Now with the upcoming third generation it is the grandchildren that give their names to the vessels: Fast Jef, Fast Sam, Fast Sus and Fast Julia. But it was about time to pay tribute to our founding father. So the newest vessel in our fleet is called mv Fast Herman. This box shaped iceclass vessel MV Fast Herman is designed to carry breakbulk cargoes up to 3500 dwt. The coaster sails under the Belgian flag and gives Fast flexibility for trade to and from Russia and other European ports.
