Fetter is equally committed to providing comprehensive services for all populations including the insured, uninsured, underinsured and underserved alike, while accepting all forms of payment. With the implementation of the Affordable Care Act, more than ever health centers are vital as more individuals are now seeking a quality, comprehensive medical home for their primary health care. A distinct feature of Fetter as a FQHC is that it is governed by a Board of Directors representing the community - patients, civic leaders, as well as the health care providers working within the organization. The Board ensures that the specific health care needs of our community are being addressed. The daily management of the Network is bestowed to an Executive Director and a highly competent, interdisciplinary healthcare team comprised of more than 120 physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other allied health professionals, while ensuring multiple mechanisms are in place to guarantee the highest quality of care. Today Fetter Health Care Network has eight different sites, a Home Health Program, a Dental practice and a Pharmacy all serving residents throughout Berkeley, Charleston, Colleton, and Dorchester Counties.
