First Basin Credit Union

First Basin Credit Union, formerly known as Medical Center Credit Union, was founded in 1965 and grew from serving a small group of members in the Odessa medical community to become a credit union that serves members across the Permian Basin. In 1996, Medical Center Credit Union became Medical Community Credit Union and in 2005 became First Basin Credit Union to reflect the expanded membership. Today, First Basin has a membership exceeding 26,000 in 17 different counties and assets over $276 million.
