Fiskerstrand BLRT AS is a Norwegian registered Joint Venture Company, established in 2007 by Fiskerstrand Verft AS and Western Shipyard. Fiskerstrand Verft AS in Ålesund, Norway and Western Shipyard in Klaipeda, Lithuania, have been working together extensively since 2000. This encouraging experience, naturally led to the establishment of the new company, Fiskerstrand BLRT AS. Over the past years, Fiskerstrand BLRT AS has developed a flexible, effective and complimentary collaboration model, exploiting the full advantage of the yards collective resources by coordinating their activities. The new yard, Western Baltija Shipbuilding, extends the groups capacity and open new opportunities in the field of specialized, modern shipbuilding. Fiskerstrand BLRT AS conducts overall management and is responsible for the three yards on projects within the market segments, shipbuilding and renewable energy. Our vision is to be a strong player within the European Shipbuilding market and the leading player within development and new building of small to medium sized car and passenger vessels. We are also a key supplier of vessels and products related to offshore windfarms.
