Five Rivers Ranch Cattle Feeding LLC (Five Rivers) is an independently operated joint venture between the cattle feeding businesses of ContiGroup Companies, Inc. (formerly Continental Grain Company) and Smithfield Foods, Inc. formed in May 2005. Five Rivers has a combined feeding capacity of more than 800,000 head of cattle with locations in Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.
