Fleet Transit

Fleet Transit, Inc. operates from terminals in Baltimore, Maryland and Fairfax, Virginia, covering a territory that extends from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Richmond, Virginia and west to Winchester, Virginia. Customers include some of the nation's largest petroleum, asphalt, and cement marketers. In 2004, Fleet Transit moved their headquarters to a new building. The new facility provided the resources required for Fleet to implement a wellness program, a personal trainer, and a health education specialist. The trainer goes on the road with the drivers, watching how they work and how the work affects their bodies, and then suggests various exercises to enhance comfort on the road and reduce possible injury. These new additions paired with roll-stability control technology fitted on all trailers as well as a devoted staff help to make Fleet Transit the recognized corporation it is today.
