HMR Foundation

On October 7th, 2011, the HMR Foundation and the Centre for Nursing Excellence (CESI) organized a cocktail event to acknowledge a donation from the TD Bank Group that enabled the Foundation to implement a program awarding university scholarships and support grants for the practice of nursing. We can certainly boast of having accomplished our mission. The program awarding university scholarships and support grants for the practice of nursing was implemented five years ago thanks to the efforts of the HMR Foundation and the CESI and has made over one hundred people very happy. The program was created thanks to a major $150,000 contribution from the TD Bank Group. This program is very dear to the Foundation and to the CESI as these organizations believe very strongly in promoting the competency of upcoming generations of nurses, nursing assistants and patient care aids.
