Food Center

John Banks opened Food Center in 1949 just a block away from where it is today. It quickly outgrew its first location and moved to its current address in 1955. Since then, it has gone through 4 major remodels expanding and updating to provide a clean and spacious supermarket for its customers. John had an amazing work ethic and proved to be a perfect example to follow, giving the store a reputable name for its quality meat and friendly customer service. His son, Bob has carried on his legacy and currently owns the store with two of his adult children who run the day-to-day operations
