FVS Limited was established in 1982 when John Fitton the current managing director identified a gap in the market for a quality experienced sprinkler servicing company in the North West of England. The reputation of the company soon grew and its services were in great demand due to the abundance of manufacturing plants, textile mills, bleach and dye works and paper mills all requiring service and maintenance of their sprinkler systems. Over the following years even though the manufacturing industries took a downturn other industries flourished such as warehouses and distribution centres, shopping centres, schools, H.M.O's, residential and domestic property all requiring sprinkler protection. In 1987 we needed to move to bigger premises and we bought our current workshop and offices in Broom Street, Newhey, Rochdale. The site has been extended and modernised and remains our head office today. This year we are celebrating our 33rd anniversary and are just as active in service testing, repair, alteration and extension of sprinkler systems as ever. Today we directly employ 20 people, including 3 design staff and a dedicated service and repair team, we provide in-house training for our installation fitters to teach them the FVS way of working. We also appoint sub contract installation and fabrication teams to cater for major contract projects.
