Garnsychan Partnership

The Garnsychan Partnership is a registered charity (number 1081490) dedicated to community based social, environmental and economic regeneration. We have 10 Trustees, 11 staff, and around 30 regular volunteers from within the community and local training providers who dedicate their time to help make our area an even better place to live. We were founded in 1999 with the aim to help combat some of the problems that became associated with the ex-mining communities in the South Wales valleys. We are based in Garndiffaith just north of Pontypool and currently run a number of projects that benefit all sectors of our communities in the Abersychan ward and wider Torfaen. We manage three social enterprise projects inTorfaen and provides other services that are all dedicated to supprting community based regeneration.
