Gartner Coatings, Inc. provides specialty coating services for corrosion protection. It offers liquid coating services, including epoxies, urethanes, and zincs, as well as coatings that require force curing or baking, such as modified epoxies and phenolics; and powder coatings that include thermoset and thermoplastic coatings, and architectural powder coatings for the building products industry. The company also provides metalizing using the arc or thermal spray methods for various materials, including zinc, aluminum, zinc/aluminum, nickel, copper, and stainless steel. In addition, it offers specialty coating services, including lining of potable and fire water tanks through Pre-Krete or by using a plural component rig and spraying either polyurethane or polyurea; architectural aluminum, including Valspar Fluropon and PPG Duranar; repair and reline tank trailers for companies in the business of transporting over the road bulk chemicals, as well as offers inspections services for the trailers; and epoxies and urethanes to industrial floors for appearance and protection. Further, the company provides abrasive blasting for various applications, such as creating architectural effects; non-skid walkways and stair steps; and carving and shading in wood, stone, and other materials. Gartner Coatings, Inc. was formerly known F.W. Gartner Company and changed its name to Gartner Coatings, Inc. in 2000. The company was founded in 1923 and is based in Pearland, Texas.
