The Village has been dedicated to building a community of strong, healthy families in Greater Hartford who protect and nurture children by providing a full range of behavioral health treatment for children and youth, foster care and adoption, and community support services for children and families in the Greater Hartford region. It is one of the first agencies in the country to provide homes for neglected children. It was founded 1877 and headquartered in Rosemont, Pennsylvania.
