Red One Engineering was founded in 2003 and specializes in the design of segmental retaining walls, specifically the Anchor and Keystone products. Red One Engineering is a leader in the Southern California market for the design of segmental retaining walls, earning an excellent reputation with engineers, architects and developers. Matthew M. Merritt, P.E. is the Vice President of Red One Engineering and has been with the company since its inception. Matthew M. Merritt, P.E. has been with Red One since its inception in 2003. During that time he has designed over 500 projects totaling over 1.5 million square feet of retaining wall. Mr. Merritt is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University - San Luis Obispo where he earned B.S. and M.S. degrees. Mr. Merritt has been a registered Civil Engineer in the State of California since 2005 and is currently also registered in Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and Hawaii.
