GHA Coaches
Wrexham based GHA Coaches has been awarded the contract to operate the new TrawsCymru T3 service for seven years by the Welsh Government from November linking Wrexham, Llangollen, Corwen, Bala, Dolgellau and Barmouth. The new T3 service will replace the existing X94 service which is currently operated by GHA and although the route will remain the same the timetable is greatly improved offering more journeys throughout the day, and improved connections at Dolgellau onto other TrawsCymru routes to Aberystwyth and Bangor. New vehicles are to be purchased for the route and will be to a high specification including luxury spacious leather seats, WI-FI, Audible next stop announcements, cycle racks and will be painted in a new generic TrawsCymru livery. Charlie Williams, Operations Supervisor at GHA said "we are really pleased to be awarded this prestigious contract and are looking forward to continuing to serve the customers and communities on the new improved service. We have created a timetable that not only gives an improved frequency but is also timed to connect with other TrawsCymru services giving customers more travel options across Wales. The TrawsCymru network is designed not only to provide vital transport links to communities across Wales but also to give visitors an accessible, affordable and environmentally friendly option for exploring the scenic beauty of the country." GHA Coaches already operates several other interurban routes across its network including the X50 & X52 that link Wrexham to Denbeigh and Rhyl.
