Established in 2007, GI Specialists of Georgia is the leading gastroenterology practice in Northwest Georgia. Formed as a result of a merger between Digestive Care Associates and Northwest Gastroenterology Associates in October of 2007, our Board Certified physicians treat patients at eight office locations and three endoscopy centers conveniently located in the Northwest Atlanta area. Patients choose GI Specialists of Georgia to receive high quality treatment for their digestive disorders in a professional, supportive and educational environment. GI Specialists of Georgia physicians treat all disorders of the digestive tract including disorders of the liver and pancreas. We have on staff physicians with additional skill sets in sub specialty areas of Gastroenterology who have the ability to both provide the latest treatments and manage cases with a higher level of complexity. Our physicians work in a team based, collaborative environment by coordinating care with every patient's primary care physician. We also provide seamless access to clinical research trials to provide additional cutting edge medications and treatment plans.
