GIP
GIP AG and It-service subsidiary GIP Exyr GmbH moving into the new MAG building complex, which is located in Hechtsheimer Straße, end of the year. Moving into the modern and energy efficient building will offer GIP the possibility to maintain its course of success and growth. Besides expanding the existing business, these areas are needed for the new business unit 'Internet of energy and electric vehicles'. The new location is also necessary in order to realize the scheduled doubling of the company size from currently 60 to 120 highly qualified employees. Long-standing customers of GIP are well-known telecommunication companies such as the Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone and Kabel Baden-Wuerttemberg. In addition to customer projects, GIP also works on research projects, including a BMWi-funded project on electric vehicles, in which also juwi (Wörrstadt) is involved. In these premises, the new GIP "software factory" will be formed. Thereby GIP has found in MAG the right partner to implement their innovative ideas for their room concept. We expressly thank the MAG-directors Lukas Augustin and Martin Dörnemann for their great commitment so that GIP could remain in Mainz. The building complex which is located in the Hechtsheimer Straße is ideally suited to design the rooms future-oriented and employee-friendly in an open-space concept. Besides a spacious lounge for intensifying the communication, several project rooms and a library will be created as opportunities for retreating. The new building will thus be a very attractive working place for existing and new employees from the sectors of computer science, mathematics, sciences, engineering and physics.
