GIS KONSULT is promoting a hands-on-approach to the use of the Geographic Information Systems for sustainable development. One of such is the Geo-Hackathon which is a collaboration with educational institutions and industry partners to promote and stimulate innovations. This is a unique initiative that comprises of a series of events that sensitizes and trains diverse disciplines to use GIS. Students and researchers are empowered to utilize and leverage on the capabilities of geospatial technologies for the sustainable development of Sub-Saharan Africa.
