Gistic Research

Gistic Research Inc., founded in 2005 by Bo Guo, PE, PhD, is based in Tempe, Arizona and also maintains a presence in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Guo has over 20 years of experience in the field of Information Technology, with a focus on GIS and IT integration. A majority of Gistic's combined staff experience has been spent in service to highway transportation agencies, but its client portfolio also includes assessor, development services and aviation agencies. Our work is influenced by two key approaches: collaboration and research. We work with our clients to develop the most appropriate solutions that take into account their current or desired architecture, technology resources and budget. We strongly believe that a client's business needs and technology environment should drive the choice of GIS product and/or methodology - not the other way around. We also believe that GIS potential can only be realized when it is fully integrated with the IT enterprise.
