GreenLife Group has been involved in the project since 2005 and during this time the management at Woodland Waters have committed over $4 million towards landscape construction and maintenance at the estate. The project began with the construction of the stage 1 entry, consisting of block walls with stone cladding and timber in-fills, advanced trees and instant turf to irrigated nature strips. Progressing from stage 1, GLG were awarded the wetland construction work. This included timber boardwalks, concrete paths, rock retaining walls and an amphitheatre with timber structure and jetty. GLG were also responsible for the selection and installation of 180,000 plants, including aquatic varieties. Once selected as the preferred supplier of landscape construction and maintenance, the staff at GLG applied their knowledge and expertise in an effort to optimise the effectiveness and efficiency of the project through daily scheduling. The Woodland Waters project had very firm schedules, GLG were able to continually meet these throughout the project with a forward thinking and dedicated team approach. Careful planning and foresight ensured materials were available when required. Inclement weather caused delays during the project, hindering GLG's progress, but with a systematic approach GLG worked with the various other construction and design teams on site to meet timelines. Pivotal to the success of the Woodland Waters project has been GLG's ability to work with councils, utilities and architects to deliver a quality project on time. Through dedication, commitment and continual process review, GLG has provided quality landscape construction and maintenance throughout the estate for over six years. The excellent relationship with Woodland Waters has resulted in ongoing contract renewal for the maintenance of the estate.
