GLW Feeds

At GLW Feeds we manufacture pig feeds to suit all breeding animals and piglets from 10 kg through to finish in any situation on farm. We have a comprehensive range of feeds to encompass sow diets, grower diets and finishing diets. We also have a range of specialist feeds that include creep feeds, concentrates and balancer meals. Lindum Mill Shepshed is a state of the art facility where we can manufacture compound feeds in meal, 3mm pellets, 6 mm nuts and 15mm rolls. We have a large modern dedicated haulage fleet of both bulk and bagged lorries. At GLW Feeds we use only the highest quality raw materials in all our diets which are subject to rigorous sampling and traceability procedures. We supply feeds to many large and smaller producers across the country, our aim being to provide the best products and service for them that we can. Crucially we can take care of all aspects of formulation, manufacture, raw material purchasing, delivery and on farm support. In short, if he wishes, a producer needs only open the shoot on his bin and feed his pigs, we'll do the rest! All our formulation work is done by Mick Hazzledine of Premier Nutrition, who enjoys a world renowned reputation as one of the leading pig nutritionists working today. We do not use regular "least cost" formulation to produce our diets, rather we believe that it is important to have consistency of manufacture so we adjust our formulae only when we can see an improvement can be made or raw materials substantially change.
