Established in 2002, GM Korea Company (GM Korea), which is based in Incheon, Korea, operates four manufacturing facilities in Korea and represents one of only seven fully integrated design, engineering and manufacturing operations within GM. Since its launch, GM Korea has been contributing to Koreas society and economy by investing in new product development and facilities. GM Korea produces one out of every four Chevrolets sold worldwide. It provides market- and brand-specific vehicle kits for assembly at GM facilities in China, Uzbekistan, Mexico, India, Colombia, Russia and other countries. The GM Korea Design Center and GM Korea Technical Center in Bupyeong are developing the next generation of GM products. GM Korea is the home of GM's global small and mini-car architectural development teams, which are developing the next generation of products for the GM Group. GM Koreas product lineup includes a range of Chevrolet products (Spark/Spark EV, Aveo, Cruze, Malibu, Orlando, Trax, Captiva SUV), Alpheon and Mini-commercial vehicles such as the Damas and Labo, Camaro, Corvette.
