Scott Appalachian Industries

SAI was established in 1984. With a budget of $42,000 per year and 2 staff members, SAI provided Day Habilitation for a total of 7 citizens with Developmental Disabilities. Today, SAI provides numerous day and at-home services for citizens with disabilities in Scott County and surrounding communities. SAI employs over 180 staff, serves over 100 individuals weekly, and more than 1,000 annually. Those served and the number of services provided have grown consistently.
