Goldtree

Goldtree produces edible palm oil for consumption in local and regional markets on a commercial scale. Palm oil is used as a cooking ingredient and extensively as a base ingredient in food products and in the soap industry. It is a natural vegetable oil derived from the pulp of oil palm fruits. In Sierra Leone, crude palm oil is consumed on a daily basis as part of the local diet. One million tonnes of edible oils are imported into West Africa annually.
