Kurzemes Granulas

The Company is located in the area of the Ventspils Free Port (http://www.portofventspils.lv/). The factory has operated since 2005 and currently manufactures about 70'000 tons of pellets a year. The main output consists of 45'000 - 50'000 t high quality industrial pellets and 20'000 - 25'000 t Premium grade pellets (DINplus, ENplus-A1). The pellets are produced only from domestic raw materials: 70-80% - pure coniferous sawdust and shavings from a local sawmill; 20-30% - wood chips and firewood. No chemical additives are used. Currently Kurzemes Granulas Ltd. manufactures only 6 mm pellets. Industrial pellets are mostly delivered in bulk by vessels to Western European and Scandinavian countries (Denmark, Belgium, Sweden, UK, Netherlands, Germany etc.) for heat and power generation at CHPs and boiler houses. Premium pellets are packed in bags and delivered to customers in Italy, UK, Belgium, France, Germany, Denmark etc. for residential and small enterprise use. Privacy Policy
