About Greenbelt Electric Cooperative: Since 1938, Greenbelt Electric Cooperative has supported the quality of life for Texas Panhandle residents by meeting their electrical needs. Greenbelt serves 4,969 connected meters with over 2,445 miles of energized line. It operates in Armstrong, Collingsworth, Donley and Wheeler Counties as well as parts of Childress, Gray, Hemphill, Randall and Roberts Counties.
