Grillo-Werke

A family-owned company that has had its headquarters in Duisburg since its foundation in 1842, Grillo is one of the market leaders in Europe for the processing of zinc and sulphur. Today, the group is structured into the Chemicals, Zinc Oxide, Metal and RHEINZINK® divisions with a headcount of around 1,600 employees handling its worldwide operations. Zinc oxides of various qualities are developed and manufactured at the Grillo Zinkoxid GmbH facility in Goslar. The wide range of ways in which zinc oxide can be used in many different market segments requires a high level of innovation and customer focus. True to their motto "Progress as a tradition", the development of new processes, procedures, materials and chemicals in all business divisions has been a core focus since the founding of the company, with the aim of optimising the products. In this regard the Research and Development departments are staffed by highly qualified specialists tasked with handling the various projects.
