HLD is a group of entrepreneurs, created for entrepreneurs. It was founded by Jean-Philippe Hecketsweiler, Jean-Bernard Lafonta and Philippe Donnet. Other HLD Group shareholders include top entrepreneurs, such as Claude Bébéar (founder of the AXA insurance company), Norbert Dentressangle (founder of the logistics group of the same name), Jean-Charles Decaux (President and representative of the family that founded the JCDecaux urban street furniture group). The vocation of HLD Group is to invest in French companies, over the long term, to support their growth and bolster their leadership. HLD Group is interested in entrepreneurial companies with strong potential for organic or external growth, as well as the potential to improve their operational performance and international development. In accordance with its investment philosophy, HLD Group does not interfere in the operational management of a company, but - through governance bodies in particular - provides strategic and financial expertise, as well as a network of connections. The cumulative turnover of all the companies in the HLD Group is over €1000 M, and these companies employ almost 10,000 people.
