Founded in 1986, Spire Group Limited is a privately held corporation specializing in the acquisition, design, construction and management of public refrigerated warehouses ("PRW") and logistics business. Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, Spire Group Limited, with its subsidiaries and affiliates, design, construct and operate industry leading distribution centers in partnership with progressive manufacturers and distributors. We achieve efficiencies and economies by integrating proven supply chain technologies with a depth of experience and a commitment to operational excellence and profitability for all partners. Spire Group Limited in 2009, through its North American subsidiary, Everest Cold Storage, designed and built a 4,500,000 cubic foot facility with 14,900 pallet positions in Montreal, Quebec. Spire is currently exploring acquisitions and new development opportunities throughout North America. Spire Group Limited's European subsidiary, Everest Kool Solutions, is aggressively developing joint venture relationships in Australia and New Zealand as the demand for sophisticated modern public refrigerated warehousing (PRW) is increasing around the world. Everest Kool had a 3-year contract to build and operate facilities in the Republic of Georgia. Spire Group Limited has a 50/50 joint venture with Samsara Capital Group of India. Samsara is a privately-held Mumbai-based investment company with expertise in real estate and land development pan-India. The joint venture formed Kool Solutions India in September, 2012 to build and operate large, state-of-the-art PRW's in major Indian metros in order to store chilled/frozen foods (fruits, vegetables, meat, poultry, food enzymes and dairy) and pharmaceutical products. Kool Solutions India will open Phase 1 of its first state-of-the-art PRW in Taloja, Mumbai in March, 2017 with 7,500 pallet positions, 9 dock doors, a refrigerated dock and six convertible rooms to hold temperatures between -29°C to +15°C. Phase 2 is planned to be operational in January, 2018. Spire Group Limited is a member of the International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses ("IARW"), a world-wide association that aggressively promotes more efficient distribution services, aids members in new technology, advises members in complying with local and international regulations; participate in alliances with industry and international organizations having interest in the safe and efficient flow of food products.
