GSRC provides a wide range of ecological restoration services to Federal and state agencies, as well as private clients across the United States. GSRC has successfully completed projects for U.S. Customs and Border Protection, as well as all branches of the Department of Defense, including multiple U.S. Army Corps of Engineers districts, Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Southeast, and NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic. Ecological restoration services provided by GSRC include ecosystem restoration planning and implementation, invasive species management, nursery operations, irrigation system design and implementation, native species revegetation, and habitat monitoring and maintenance. GSRC's ecological restoration program provides clients with innovative, efficient, and cost-effective solutions to achieve project goals while meeting Federal, state, and local compliance regulations. GSRC often works in highly sensitive environments, where rare, sensitive, and listed species are of great concern, and frequently works with land managers and regulatory agencies (e.g., U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service) to provide services in these sensitive areas. GSRC is continually evaluating new materials, equipment, and techniques to improve efficiency, safety, and productivity for its clients. GSRC's staff, trained in conservation biology, landscape ecology, habitat restoration, environmental horticulture, botany, forestry, wildlife management, and geographic information systems (GIS), has experience in planning and implementing a variety of ecological restoration projects in the southeastern and western United States. GSRC, which utilizes full-time in-house professional staff to complete all aspects of its projects, maintains various licenses (e.g., pesticide applicator, irrigation, horticulture) in multiple states. GSRC has more than 25 ecological restoration projects ongoing or completed in the last 5 years. A representative sample of those projects is included below.
