(GTTPL) was promoted by two young entrepreneurs who have a vast experience in the telecom field especially in the branches of Transmission of voice packets over IP networks. Golden Tiger Telecom Pvt. Ltd is a part of the Aquarius Group of Companies and one of the other ventures flourishing under the aegis of the duo is Aquarius Webhosting Pvt. Ltd. which has to date has shown a steady growth pattern since the day of formation and is synergistic with GTTPL operations. Since IP is still not allowed as a medium for transmission of basic telecom in India, currently the company is laying basic copper and circuit switched networks under DID license from BSNL. Ltd. to provide the optimum services at better than average prices. Recently Golden Tiger Telecom Pvt. Ltd.has had a complete revamp of operations with the induction of 3 new directors, each of whom is a specialist in his own field of expertise. Golden Tiger Telecom Pvt. Ltd. also has an IP1 licence from the DOT which allows it to share its infrastructure with other telecom operators including towers, dark fibre, right of way, etc. Golden Tiger Telecom Pvt. Ltd. has specialized in hybrid delivery technologies such as wireless and wired. Being Technology neutral has helped GTTPL gain a lead where other ISPs married to their technologies have a long turn around period. Golden Tiger Telecom Pvt. Ltd. covers Pune of one side with an Aundh - Baner network and on the other side by the Koregaon Park to Kharadi network.
