Gulf Elevators & Escalators Company Ltd (GEEC) was established in 1999, as a result of technical collaboration with Fuji Elevator of Japan which is a member of the Fuji Elevator Association (FEA), to manufacture, market, install and maintain Fuji Saudi Arabia branded Elevators & Escalators for the MENA region. Upon the company's establishment of its manufacturing facilities in Jeddah Saudi Arabia it became the first elevator manufacturing company in the GCC Countries. GEEC has invested heavily into its manufacturing facilities and field operations, enhanced the manufacturing facilities to a full equipped modern a simply plan with sate of the arts machinery and current technology of production lines. The test tower was constructed for the R&D group product testing optimization and advancement. In addition to the technical support and cooperation of the Fuji Elevator Co. Ltd. of Japan the managements has employed advance programs such as ISO-9001-2000-QMS and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) as the company management commitment to the product Quality, Reliability and Safety. The GEC has achieved a sizeable market share and positioned its self among the world leading elevator companies operating in the region.
