The company Halsbury Languages is a trading name of Halsbury Travel Ltd (you may also have known us as Acorn Educational Exchanges - same company just a new name and logo), a leading ABTA/ATOL bonded specialist School Tour Operator. Halsbury Travel was established in 1986 and has been highly successful in organising educational trips for schools: General European and worldwide School Tours School Exchange Travel Language Trips Business Studies History Music Sport Ski Work Experience Trips Our senior management team include a number of former senior teachers and school managers as well as linguists and graduates who between them speak 6 different European languages. Our permanent staff at our Head Offices in Nottingham and Regional Representatives, based around the country, are available to help and advise students, teachers and parents as necessary throughout the week during office hours from Monday-Friday and emergency and out of hours numbers are given on our answer phone service should you wish or need to contact us outside these hours. Our Work Experience programme has been running since 1992. We have taken many thousands of students on successful work experience trips each year to France, Germany, Spain and Italy. We very much hope that we will have the chance of taking you or students from your school or college, on one of our European Work Experience trips or Language Activity holidays in the near future.
