Hamriyah Steel is leading steel manufacturing in UAE, Russia-Emirates joint venture established by METALLOINVEST and H.H. SHEIKH SULTAN BIN KHALIFA AL NAHYAN . The Plant is a rolling mill Locate in Hamriyah Free Economic Zone in Sharjah capable to supply 1M TPY rebar to local construction market. The equipment supply contract for the Hamriyah Steel was awarded to SMS Meer S.P.A, the Italian subsidiary of German SMS Group. In order to satisfy customers high level demands the modern technology of thermo-processing are implemented at Hamriyah Steel. The purpose is to improve technical characteristics of low carbon steel by the effect of surface quenching and self tempering using. Hamriyah Steel is located on 112,000 square meters of land 4 km from the Hamriyah Free Zone Port. Rebars are produced across the range of sizes 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 25, 28, 32, 36, 40mm and according to the International standards such as BS4449, ASTM A615, DIN 488 and regional standards as well.
