At Hannam Fertility Centre we are committed to the ongoing education of ourselves, our patients and our community. As part of our commitment to education, and in response to the needs expressed by our primary care colleagues, we have created the MAINPRO+ accredited Fertility Preceptorship for Primary Care Providers. The vision of our Primary Care Provider Preceptorship Program is to provide primary care providers with the knowledge and skills they need to best meet the fertility needs of their patients. Our program was developed after a needs assessment of family physicians, as well as reproductive endocrinologists. To date, we have created learning modules on four priority topics: Age and AMH PCOS: Effects on Fertility Optimizing Fertility Fertility and Men To optimize learning, we have designed a small-group, case-based learning program. Participants can interact with staff and physicians in a fun, supportive, participant-focused environment. Feedback to date has been overwhelmingly positive.
