HaploX is established by young scientists in the fields of molecular biology, bioinformatics and computational biology. Having consensus on how gene technology will greately change a person's life, they determined to devote themselves to developing new methods, better techniques and advanced products in this area. The name of HaploX is composed by the Haplo and X, which menas all the haplotypes. The mission of HaploX is to provide genomic solutions toward personalized medicine. Personalized medicine is a medical model that proposes the customization of healthcare - with medical decisions, practices, and/or products being tailored to the individual patient. The use of genetic information has played a major role in certain aspects of personalized medicine. HaploX developed key technologies in Whole Whole Genome Amplification Kits, de novo assembly, De Novo Cancer Genome Assembly, Haplotype-Resolved Sequencing and Polony and Rolony Library Preparation Kits. HaploX provides the first WGA kits which can amplify less than single genome, even for 10% of single genome with high accuracy and negligible bias. For less than single genome, HaploX LS WGA kits generate ~300ng library-ready DNA without purification, which is plenty starting material for most next-generation sequencing platforms. For single genome or single genomes, HaploX HS WGA kits generate ~5ug library ready DNA without purification, which provides high-fidelity DNA for experiments and research that needs more DNA.
