Happy Human

Happy Human is 100% locally owned and operated by Amber and Jesse Walker. It was founded in 2011 under the name I Think I Can Fitness. In 2018 it was re-branded as Happy Human. Amber Ellison Walker (Co-Founder and Head Trainer) is a Minnesota native. She holds a BA in Neuroscience, BA in Dance, Masters in Kinesiology. She is certified by NASM and Precision Nutrition. She grew tired of how big box gyms often put the bottom-line before the well-being of her clients so she started this company. Jesse Walker (Co-Founder and 'Guy-Who-Handles-all-the-Businessy-Stuff') comes to fitness from the world of professional dance (where he met Amber). His passion is to utilize his creative and analytical verve to make companies that make real differences in people's lives. Jesse and Amber are married and have two rambunctious boys. They are regulars at all the playgrounds in South Minneapolis.
