Harbourmaster

The Harbourmaster was bought and renovated by us back in 2001: 6 months later it opened for business and was popular from the start. We are both from the area and after other careers decided that the Harbourmaster Hotel could do with some tlc. The quayside in Aberaeron was a great location for what was then, the new trend for 'boutique hotels'. Hard work, great publicity, many ups and downs and expansion has made the hotel what it is today. Our aim from the start was to provide stylish rooms, serve good fresh local food and drink in a buzzy atmosphere. We have built up a great team with the emphasis on giving local people the opportunity to develop. We believe the hotel, bar and restaurant is very important to the town and has contributed to making Aberaeron famous throughout the UK as a must visit place.
