Hartman Companies has been working on sports turf and and golf course construction related projects since 1971 when Jeffrey Hartman founded Hartman Companies. Hartman Companies has twenty years of general contracting experience with site design and development along with golf course renovation and construction projects that range in value fron $20,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. Today the majority of our work is golf course renovation and restoration along with sports turf drainage located around Minnesota and Wisconsin. Projects include courses designed by Seth Raynor, A.W. Tillinghast, Donald Ross, Robert Trent Jones Sr. and others. With our methods of construction, disruption of play is kept to a minimum during the renovation or restoration process. Our company pioneered the silt drainage system in the United States that has been a standatd in Europe for the past 20 years. This system will drain the same area as conventional drainage in one-third the time for the same cost. With our unique machinery there is no heavy cleanup required after our tile is installed, which has the golf course looking like nothing happened in just days. Hartman Companies employs 45 people between supervisors, operators, and laborers who are all committed to high quality performance. Our specialty is in the eye for detail and quality. Along with drainage we provide: site development, landscaping, excavating, grading, and golf course renovation. Artificial turf installation is also one of our specialties.
