Hattie Rex

HattieRex is an artist-owned business that creates personalized and custom pet ID tags, jewelry, wine charms, keychains, and other handcrafted metal accessories. Working in copper, brass, aluminum, and sterling silver, HattieRex creates one-of-a-kind goods for people and pets to use, give, and enjoy. HattieRex was founded by Tessa Burnett in 2008. Tessa grew up in Missouri and North Carolina before settling in Montana in 2011. She holds a bachelor's degree in Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a Master's degree in Technical communication from the Missouri University of Science and Technology. Tessa previously worked as a high school Spanish teacher but now spends her days hammering stamped metal accessories for pets and their people. In March 2012, HattieRex opened a retail location and studio in downtown Bozeman, Montana. In addition to HattieRex.com, HattieRex products are available in two shops on Etsy: makeyourdogsmile.etsy.com and hattierex.etsy.com. You can also order our custom goods in over two dozen retail locations in the US, Canada, and Japan. We have products at Tart in the Emerson Cultural Center in Bozeman, Montana; Frayed Sew in Helena, Montana; handcrafted in Chandler, Arizona; and The Foundrie in Chesterfield Mall in St. Louis, Missouri. HattieRex products have been featured in CountryLiving, ModernDog, and CityDog magazines, as well as HGTV.com. HattieRex was an Etsy featured seller in November 2009.
